The Relacje Visual Arts Festival was held in 2019 in a traditional form - with an opening, an exhibition and eye-to-eye meetings. In 2020, due to the raging C19 epidemic, the organizers were faced with a difficult question: what to do?
Ultimately, they decided to conduct it on-line, opening a competition for the implementation of an artistic project in a fully digital form. And we received a proposal to prepare the identity of this edition, a graphic design of a website through which you could submit your application, and a series of animated formats encouraging you to take part in the Festival.
The main issue of the Relacje Festival is the creator's relationship with the recipient and its transformations - common in today's digital reality. We tried to create such an identity - open and a bit surprising. Progressive and colorful, but optimistic and slightly raw. Strong colors that change over time, typographic experiments in the Euclid typeface, as well as video elements in identity allowed us to meet these expectations.
