Designing for your own bands (I play drums in Hanxiety) and initiatives is a completely different kind of task. As you might imagine, you quickly lose your distance from the project, and every idea becomes just as good as bad.

In the case of Hanxiety, however, it was easy. We decided to base the covers of the singles and the album on one coherent layout, and make the subject what was underneath. In the case of 'Lovesong', it was the black sheep from the lyrics. In 'Będę dzielny', the main role was played by Susie Hammer's illustration. On the other hand, for the album cover, we chose a stock photo about orthodontic prophylaxis.

In a coherent typographic style, I also designed the poster and communication for the band's debut concert, which was a benefit for GPAS - an organization that helps children from Warsaw's backyards.
